This airplane is a kit from flair products, I bought it in 1994 or 1995 and only this year 2007 put my hands on it. Designed for F3A is obviously out of date, but it looks very nice even now and I believe it is a very good performer in the right hands, I'm looking forward to buy a brand new kit (of hands), but I can't find it in any place if you know a place please let me know.

The kit is conventional, a scale and very detailed plan and lots of good quality wood, the rest is up to you. It was prepared for optional retracts, but I decided to use a fixed landing gear. Since I had an Q72 from Irvine lasting and seemed a proper engine to this aircraft I used it. I looked a big plane since the beginning, for me of course... motor

Wing looked very nice and apparently has low work to do, but only apparently, Servos, in my case Futaba 3003, had to be placed and it wasn't easy, main landing gear had to be adapted and was all but easy.

Main landing gear was a bit complicated since I wanted it in one peace and so I had to compensate the dihedral and the technical used was brute force has you can see. After placing the landing gear, I used fibreglass fibre to strength central area on both sides But after the covering I could breath again.

Size Assembly is conventional and all parts fit absolutely accurate, low quantity of glue being necessary, Horizontal stabilizer and ruder are construction but relatively easy to build. Last photo sows the firewall. Rudder Firewall
LinksServosTest Some building details, like testing wing fitting and adjusting cables, servo assembly and canopy formers, its a huge and very functional canopy.

Out Front Rear Looks very nice indeed. But as you can see a 13" propeller is not suitable, I had to use a 12" one, now I'm flying with a 12x8" from APC. Total weigh is 3Kg and 150 grams, very good for such airplane.
